Fernox, market leader in chemical water treatment products, will be exhibiting at PHEX, the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester on the 16th and 17th October. On display will be the company’s latest innovations in filters and chemical water treatment.
Visitors to the stand will be able to view the Fernox TF1 Sigma Filter, part of the award-winning TF1 sealed range of filters. The TF1 Sigma Filter is the first composite polymer filter to be developed without lid, for improved reliability and ease of cleaning and servicing. The TF1 Sigma Filter was developed following extensive market research and customer feedback to produce a plastic sealed filter. Adopting this sealed design approach eliminates the need for replacement ‘O’ rings; thereby reducing time on-site and ongoing maintenance costs associated with traditional lidded plastic filters, which require component parts to be replaced when opening the lid for servicing.
The filter is versatile and can be positioned at an angle up to 45° so it is ideal for use in small and restricted spaces where headroom is limited. Available in both 22mm and 28mm versions, with valves or slip socket connections, it offers installers the ultimate in choice.
The high-performance TF1 Sigma Filter uses unique Hydronic Particle Separation (HPS) technology and magnetic filtration to remove magnetic and non-magnetic debris fast and efficiently from a domestic heating system.
Also, on the stand will be the new, enhanced Fernox Express 400ml chemical range, which can dose a central heating system in just 30 seconds. Pressurised to 12 bar and using barrier pressure pack technology to dispense the entire contents of the product into the system, without the need to drain down the system. The new formulations are packed with even more active ingredients and now come in a slightly larger dosage of 400ml, which means each bottle can protect a system up to 130 litres (16 radiators) or 250m2 of underfloor systems.
Francine Wickham, Global Marketing Director at Fernox said: “Fernox recognises the crucial role that product innovation plays in encouraging the wide-spread adoption of best practices and new processes to keep central heating systems clean and protected. Our technical team will therefore be on stand to gain installer feedback, to provide products that not only meet but anticipate market demand.”
